My first published article

Oh yay!! My first article is out! Lisa Crispin co-authored this with me, and it's kinda cool to see it :)

(you do have to register, but it's free)

I can't possibly post this, however, without also giving a shoutout to all of the awesome women in the latest ST&P Magazine: Women of Influence. Find it at http://www.stpcollaborative.com/

Congratulations!
I signed up with Agile Record and will download the magazine.

Would you like a bug report for Agile Record's subscription service?

1. To get a copy of the magazine, you need to "subscribe" with your name and email address. There is no field on the subscription form for a password.

2. The home page asks for email and password to let a "subscribed" user log in.

3. I did not download the magazine on the first pass. I did try to log in after I signed up. I was not able to log in because I did not have a password.

4. I asked the site to send a new password but did not get a reply.

The "subscription" service for this web site collects email addresses but it doesn't support authenticated login as it claims.

Hey, Paul, did you ever get their email? I ran into the same problem you did earlier today. I was confused, too.

After some number of minutes (less than 30?) I received an email from them with a password in it. I was then able to use that password to log in and then change my password.

It does look like their password still needs a little work, and I'll pass the confusing user experience along to them.

Hi Dawn,
Congratulations on your first article. It feels great to witness your excitement (I got mine the same time at STP :-)).

Its unbelievable to see that you built a wholesome article on the line 'Be the Worst'. This article gives a lot more tips and tricks to learn faster.

I recently became aware that 'Being the Worst' was very helpful for my learning. This perspective has speeded up my learning even more.

Thank you very much,
Regards,
